Sister Miriam MacLean, RSM, LLMSWSocial Worker and Graduate Student
Sister Miriam MacLean entered the Religious Sister of Mercy of Alma, Michigan in 2006. Sister recently moved back to Michigan after five years in Washington, DC where she worked at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and got her Master’s degree in social work from The Catholic University of America. Sister Miriam also has her Bachelor’s degree in Theology.
Currently Sister Miriam is working as a mental health therapist at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Charities, at IHM-Saint Casimir school in Lansing as the school counselor, and occasionally seeing patients at Sacred Heart Mercy Health Care Center.
Sister Miriam also began studying toward her doctorate in social work at Michigan State University this fall.
